Shaun is a Gemini-award-winning actor/comedian whose television career has included starring in the Farrelly Brothers comedy Unhitched, as well as roles on 24 and Cedric the Entertainer Presents on Fox, Robson Arms on CTV, and Da Kink in My Hair on Global.

In January 2013, Shaun's documentary series, Majumder Manor, debuted on the W Network in Canada. Majumder Manor began its second season in early 2014, chronicling Shaun's dream to transform his hometown of Burlington, Newfoundland (population 350) into a high-end, sustainable tourist destination.

In addition to his role as co-host on This Hour Has 22 Minutes, Shaun has appeared in Hatching, Matching and Dispatching and Republic of Doyle for CBC Television. In 2012, he played Andrew Palmer on NBC/Global Television's The Firm, starring Josh Lucas and Juliette Lewis. Shaun starred as Detective Vik Mahajan in the critically acclaimed crime drama Detroit 1-8-7 on ABC.

His film credits include Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, The Ladies Man, Pushing Tin, Purpose, and Bob Funk alongside Rachel Leigh Cook and Olympia Dukakis.

In 2012, HBO’s documentary Every Word is Absolutely True garnered critical praise for its candid look beyond Shaun’s public persona during his first national stand-up tour.

Shaun divides his time between Atlantic Canada and Los Angeles.
